Key Responsibilities:
* Team Management:
o Supervise and motivate the deli team.
o Create staff schedules and ensure there are enough team members during busy times.
o Train new staff and provide ongoing support.
* Customer Service:
o Ensure the deli section provides great service and meets customer needs.
o Help customers with special requests or complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
o Keep the deli area neat and well-presented.
* Stock and Inventory:
o Order stock and make sure the deli is well-stocked with fresh products.
o Do regular stock checks to avoid waste and ensure products are rotated.
o Keep the deli area clean and organized.
* Health and Safety:
o Follow all food safety rules to ensure products are safe for customers.
o Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment.
o Ensure staff follow health and safety guidelines.
* Financial Management:
o Keep track of deli sales and costs to meet budget targets.
o Help reduce waste and manage expenses.
* Product Quality:
o Make sure deli products are of high quality and look appealing to customers.
o Work with suppliers to offer new products and improve the deli section.
Skills and Qualifications:
* 2 years experience working in a deli, food retail, or similar role.
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
* Good customer service skills and the ability to handle customer requests.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
* Ability to manage stock and control costs.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
