Cobden Primary School is looking for a dedicated individual that will join our leadership team and help drive forward our SEND provision. The successful candidate will lead and manage the school’s provision of SEND and demonstrate their ability to deliver the best possible outcomes for all learners. They will be able to demonstrate their evidence of successful multi agency working and will preferably already hold or be willing to work towards the National Professional SENDCo Qualification.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Cobden Primary School as a school SENDco on a permanent basis for 19.5 hours per week.

The SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator) is responsible for overseeing the provision for students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) within our school. Their main goal is to ensure that these students receive the appropriate support to access the curriculum and succeed academically and socially.

We are seeking a creative and bubbly person, who can bring innovative ideas and be confident to share them with the team.

Cobden Primary School is a multicultural, inclusive school situated in Loughborough with many good transports links to the school, including by bus and train. The SENDco at Cobden will not have class responsibility.
