Job Summary: We're looking for an inspiring Business Unit Leader to join Kiwa Agri-Food. This pivotal role will see you lead the Business Unit in achieving annual financial, operational, and cultural goals, fully aligned with Kiwa UK's long-term business objectives. You'll work on a hybrid basis, joining our Harrogate team weekly. As a dynamic and strategic leader, you'll drive operational excellence, empower and develop high-performing teams, and deliver sustainable growth. You'll champion Kiwa's culture by promoting ambition, reliability, and engagement, while ensuring a safe and inclusive working environment. About the role:

* Define and lead the strategic vision for the Business Unit, translating goals into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, positioning Kiwa Agri as the trusted partner of choice.
* Drive operational efficiency through process optimisation, Lean principles, and digital innovation.
* Monitor and analyse KPIs to ensure high performance and service delivery.
* Lead financial planning, budgeting, and pricing strategies to support sustainable growth.
* Manage the Business Unit P&L and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
* Lead and develop a capable, motivated team, ensuring career development, meaningful appraisals, and talent retention
* Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee ownership
* Collaborate with UK and international teams to expand service offerings and unlock growth opportunities.

Do you have what it takes?:

* Experience in the Food, Farm, Feed (FFA) sector within the TIC market.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, influence, and drive a long-term strategic vision.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and KPIs to inform business decisions.
* Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) to drive operational efficiency.
* Proven ability to translate strategy into executable plans with measurable outcomes.
* Experience managing customers, employees, and shareholders expectations.
* Budget management awareness with the ability to work to set targets.
* Ability to engage and influence colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.
* Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
* Resilient, dynamic, and results-driven with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
* Proficient in IT tools, including Microsoft Office.

What can you expect from us in return?:

* £80,000 - £90,000 per annum
