Your new role
Reporting to the Seniormercial Managermercial Director, you will be responsible for the preparation of cost plans for both the land purchase exercise and reappraisal of development opportunities. Ensure that all estimating work required to deliver the business' unit output ispleted timely and accurately in the most efficient and effective manner in support of the business plan.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Industry related business qualification with a valid CSCS card.
2. Proven track record in a similar role or at the level of at least Estimator.
3. Must have the ability to manage a team.
4. Must have a full understanding of current market conditions and rates.
5. Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail, able to gather, interpret and present data to facilitate preparation of budgets and subsequent valuations.
6. Methodical, conscientious and organised, works to deliver high standards.
7. Strong IT skills, working knowledge ofputer systems within themercial environment, Excel, measurement and land viability software.
8. Articulate, clear and credible, and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
9. Wide experience in the discipline within the house building industry.
10. Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC and Health and Safety requirements etc.
11. Team player, and supportive of colleagues.
12. Professional and pleasant manner in dealing with internal and external customers.
