Salary£40,778 - £46,142 Per annum | 37 hours per week | Full time, Permanent | Mental Health team | Central Lancashire

Are you an experienced Social Worker ready to take the next step? We are looking for a permanent Senior Social Worker to join our Adult Services Mental Health Team, working across Lancashire to lead and inspire creative, person-centred support that promotes independence and wellbeing.

We are currently recruiting... Senior Social Workers with empathy and the drive to make a difference, finding creative ways to support people to achieve what they want to and live as independently as possible in a place they call their home. We need a permanent Senior Social Worker to work across Lancashire as part of our Adult Services Mental Health Team.

Responsibilities

* Assist the Team Manager with complaint handling, recruitment, supervision and delivering Best Practice sessions to your team to promote continued development.
* Work with adults with a range of mental health difficulties who require statutory interventions.
* Undertake complex assessments, commission care, undertake duty tasks and work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team with a focus on collaboration and co-production.
* Support progression and development through the organisation, with any required training for your role.


Qualifications and Requirements

* Senior Social Worker with relevant post-qualification experience in mental health settings.
* Required to undertake Approved Mental Health Professional qualification if not already held.
* Social Work England (SWE) registration to be appointed as a Social Worker, or have applied to register with SWE.
* Hold a current driving license with access to a vehicle for work (reasonable adjustments considered for disability).
