Your role:
We are looking for a Graduate Air Quality Consultant for our Infrastructure team to be based in Bristol, joining our 2026 Graduate Programme.
As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort, developing your expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment.
We are seeking a Graduate Air Quality Scientist to join our established and successful Air Quality team. You will be involved in air quality assessments, low emission strategies, dust, odour assessments, emissions inventories, and local air quality management, gaining insight into how Air Quality fits into our broader consultancy services.
Our UK Air Quality Team engages in a wide range of technical projects across the UK, supporting development projects, infrastructure, and environmental permits in various sectors. We support sustainable development through early-stage air quality design measures to minimize pollution exposure.
You will join the existing Stantec UK Air Quality team, working on impact assessments, dispersion modelling (e.g., Aermod, ADMS), report writing, and environmental statement contributions. You will also assist with project delivery and develop assessments considering emerging requirements for human and ecological receptors.
You will assist with:
* Dispersion modelling of road traffic and industrial pollution sources.
* Writing air quality reports for planning applications and EIAs.
* Initial site assessments and consultations.
* Using GIS for model input and results communication.
* Proposing air quality projects.
* Liaising with clients and stakeholders.
* Conducting air quality monitoring studies.
* Dust assessments during construction phases.

About you:
