Psychology Graduate – SEN Support Role

We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Durham looking for a Psychology graduate to support pupils with additional needs.
You won’t be thrown in at the deep end. You’ll be part of a supportive team, working closely with the SENCO and class teacher to support children with autism, ADHD, and social, emotional needs.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
* Helping children regulate emotions and access learning
* Building positive, consistent routines
* Gaining hands‑on experience that’s ideal for future Educational Psychologists, Therapists or Teachers
What we’re looking for:
* A Psychology degree
* Calm, patient communication
* Genuine interest in SEN and child development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
