Are you enthusiastic about pelvic health physiotherapy? Do you want to work in a modern therapy department that strives to improve and work dynamically? If so, we are looking to recruit a Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join the outpatient team in the RUH Adult Therapies Department.
The successful candidate will need to:
1. Provide excellent, evidence-based patient care to a wide and varied pelvic health caseload.
2. Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
3. Be flexible to meet the complex demands of the service.
4. Be involved in the supervision and teaching of Band 5 Physiotherapy staff, Therapy Assistants, and Physiotherapy students.
The department offers a positive approach to continuing professional development, with training provided by the existing team and many opportunities for learning and development.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide a high-quality Physiotherapy service in the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Outpatients Department.
* Perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pelvic health patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.
* Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, holding responsibility for own caseload and a defined area of the service or a particular patient type.
