Quality Assurance Inspector (Mechanical / CMM / ISO)
Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield (Commutable from Mansfield, Nottingham, Alfreton, Chesterfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE + Training + Career Progression + Excellent Benefits
Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector with a background in mechanical inspection or precision engineering?

Role
* Inspect and measure precision‑engineered mechanical components to detailed engineering drawings
* Operate CMM machines and use a range of metrology and inspection equipment
* Perform calibration, dimensional checks, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance
* Support documentation, QA processes, and liaise with engineering and production teams on quality issues
Person
* Experience as a Quality Inspector, QA Technician, or similar within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
* Confident using CMM machines and dimensional measurement tools
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and quality inspection techniques
* Excellent attention to detail, with strong teamwork and communication skills
* Keen to develop technical skills within a forward‑thinking engineering company
