Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role as a Producer (Programming) based in Bishop Auckland. The Producer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high‑quality community‑focused events and festivals. This position involves developing programming ideas, securing partnerships, managing budgets, liaising with artists and vendors, and ensuring that events align with the company’s values of cultural and social engagement. The role demands creativity, collaboration, and a commitment to fostering a vibrant community identity through exceptional event experiences.
Experience & Specifications
* Event and Programme Planning: Proven experience in event production, programme development, and managing community‑focused projects.
* Project Management: Strong organisational skills, budgeting expertise, and the ability to coordinate diverse teams and timelines.
* Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, adept at building partnerships with stakeholders, vendors, and community members.
* Creativity and Cultural Awareness: A creative mindset with a passion for cultural, artistic, and social engagement within local communities.
* Adaptability and Problem‑Solving: Demonstrated ability to think critically, manage challenges effectively, and adjust plans as needed.
* Proficiency in technology tools: Experience with event management platforms, budget tracking software, and social media tools is a plus.
