What you'll do
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
* Support the submission of European VAT and tax returns, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions
* Help with month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
* Work with the wider finance team to maintain and improve internal financial controls
* Liaise with external advisors and auditors to support regulatory and compliance activities
* Get involved in budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing financial data and analysis
* Contribute to ongoing finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support operational decisions
About you
You should be Part- Qualified and working towards a chartered qualification and have;
* Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Experience in a finance or accounting role (practice or industry)
* Exposure to European VAT/tax compliance is highly desirable
* Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of accounting software
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and keen to grow within a commercial setting
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
