Role responsibilities

With focus on Chesterthis role will allow you to get involved in a range of activities, you will be responsible for:
1. Delivering trainee conductor training/briefings
2. Providing feedback and coaching and supporting conductors who are returning to work
3. Mentoring conductors undertaking route learning
4. Performing ride assessments
5. Completing conductor assessments where needed.
6. Provide support and feedback to the Conductor Management Team when required.
Who we’re looking for
7. Be a Qualified Conductor (one year minimum) with ideally previous, relevant experience as a Conductor Instructor on Chester routes.
8. Uphold strong knowledge of routes and traction for the network
9. Be flexible
10. Excel in your current role, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and above all, possess motivation for the conductor role
11. Hold or be prepared to work towards the Coaching and Assessor and Presentation Skills awards.
12. Have strong IT skills.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
