Success Recruit is working with an established family-run construction business near Billericay, Essex, seeking a full-time Accounts Administrator to support the Office Manager and team in a fast-paced environment. This role suits someone with proven experience in general administration, accounts, and sales order processing, complemented by friendly customer service skills and initiative.

Job Overview:
The Accounts Administrator will proactively support the busy and growing business, enabling the Office Manager to focus on strategic tasks. The role involves general accounts administration and building strong relationships with engineers and clients daily.
Main Duties:
* Answering calls and managing enquiries
* Managing a busy inbox and responding appropriately
* Organising and collecting engineers' timesheets and working to deadlines
* Obtaining receipts, recording expenses, and checking against credit card statements
* Updating Excel spreadsheets with job orders
* Managing engineer diaries and workloads
* Maintaining company vehicle logs when required
* Typing and sending quotes via email
* Invoicing, and managing Sales & Purchase Ledgers
* Supporting accounts and administrative tasks alongside the Office Manager
* Providing general administrative support to ensure operational efficiency
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, busy environment and building relationships within a construction setting. Previous experience in a small, busy accounts or administrative environment is advantageous, as no two days are the same.
Working Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Due to location, a driving license and personal vehicle are required.
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, DOE
