As an engineering recruiter working closely with a leading organisation in the defence and remanufacturing sector, I’m excited to present an opportunity for a highly skilled Master Technician to join a specialist team in Coventry. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background, a meticulous approach to quality, and experience working to MOD or OE specifications.
You’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of mechanical product assessment, rebuild, and testing—playing a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical components.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess and strip down mechanical products in accordance with detailed internal work instructions.
2. Follow MOD-specific requirements, including component traceability and strip/survey reporting.
3. Evaluate components to determine fitness for purpose and identify any faults.
4. Record additional Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements and maintain accurate job documentation.
5. Rebuild and test products to OE or AESP specifications, ensuring compliance and performance.
