MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – ELECTRICAL BIAS

We're currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) to support operations at our Dalton facility.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer with a strong electrical background and solid mechanical knowledge to be part of a dynamic team keeping our plant running at peak performance.
Shift Patterns
* Days: Mon - Friday
* Lates: Mon - Thurs, Fri
Salary: Up to £52k DOE + bonus (up to £1.2k) + overtime (above 45 hrs at 1.5x or 2x rate)
Location: Dalton, YO7
Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance tasks and repairs proactively and reactively.
* Use predictive maintenance techniques such as thermo-graphic imaging and vibration analysis.
* Implement equipment reliability improvements and develop maintenance workflows.
* Optimize processes for maximum efficiency.
* Employ preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure plant reliability.
* Ensure critical spares are available.
* Manage work flows within maintenance budget.
* Oversee projects as required.
* Adhere to safety protocols, PPE permits, and risk assessments.
Required Experience/Qualifications
* Understanding of EHS and safety culture.
* Post-apprenticeship experience.
* Electro-mechanical fault finding and repairs on PLC-controlled plants, including pneumatics and hydraulics.
* Vendor interaction experience.
* Knowledge of safe work systems (Permit to Work).
* Experience with preventive maintenance tasks.
* Ability to work at heights.
* Ability to train operators.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Experience working in a manufacturing maintenance team.
* Problem-solving skills.
* High energy, attention to detail, autonomous working ability.
* Flexibility to cover shifts and participate in training.
* Experience documenting maintenance on CMMS.
