I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to join an unique child care provider. The role comes with an excellent salary, great benefits and future growth opportunities. I am seeking a Registered Manager for a one person children's service. You will effectively liaise with outside agencies, Ofsted and Local Authorities. The main duties of the role will include: * Lead a team of staff in the delivery of high-quality care and support to the young person living in the residential children’s home. * Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure that the needs of the young person are met, that they are kept safe and that their well-being is promoted. * Develop and implement care plans and risk assessments, in consultation with the children and young people and other professionals. * Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the service, ensuring that outcomes for the young person are positive. * Participate in safer recruitment and selection of staff, ensuring that the right people are employed and that they are trained and supported to deliver high-quality care. * Work closely with the Directors to develop and implement strategies that will enhance the service and ensure that it meets all regulatory requirements. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure that all reporting requirements are met. The successful applicant will be have experience of working in a children's residential setting at management level. The role would suit an experienced Deputy Manager looking for your first management role as full senior management support is provided. You will be proficient in the leadership supervision of the staff team, as well as working to all necessary legislation including Ofsted guideline. The successful candidate will have the following: * NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare, or equivalent. * Management/ Deputy Manager experience in a residential home setting. * A familiarity with therapeutic approach. * Mental Health experience * Strong organisational skills. * A commitment to working in partnership with children, young people, their families and carers. * Ability to lead and manage a team of staff. * Good communication skills, both written and verbal. * A driving license and access to a vehicle. For an ambitious and successful manager this role will provide the opportunity to become a regional/ multi site manager and to become a part of the senior management team
