Your new companyThis is a great opportunity for an immediately available Sales Ledger Assistant to join an established, growing manufacturing company based in Blackburn for a temporary period of 6 month fixed term contract on a part-time basis of 25 hours a week.Your new roleIn your new role, you will be The UK Sales Ledger Assistant that will support the UK Ledger Controller with all aspects of Accounts receivable. You will be liaising with the sales team and the customer service team to ensure prompt dispute resolution on Sales Invoices. The key output of this role is to ensure that debt is collected as quickly as possible to support the key business target of maintaining positive cashflow. Your day to day duties will include daily receipt allocation, maintaining customer data, daily invoice runs and taking credit card payments from customers.You will process credit card receipts upon request from customers, dealing with customer queries and creating debtors Excel lists for the Group Credit Manager. Your role will include performing intercompany reconciliations, releasing sales orders daily on credit hold and proactively liaising with the customer service team and sales team for query resolution.
