About the Role
Clifton Park Hospital, located near York, is a modern, purpose‑built hospital rated "Good" by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The role is for an experienced Receptionist/Administrator in the Outpatients Department, a busy position liaising with patients, consultants, and all hospital departments.

Responsibilities
* Administer front‑line reception activities in the Outpatients Department.
* Liaise with patients, consultants, and other hospital departments to manage appointments and bookings.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
* Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional approach at all times.
Qualifications
* Maths/English to GCSE level or equivalent.
* Proven organisational and communication skills at all levels, both written and oral.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including databases.
* Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and consultants on a day‑to‑day basis using appropriate interpersonal methods.
* Positive, willing attitude.
* Self‑motivated with strong organisational, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills.
* Computer literate – experience with Word and Outlook essential.

Working Hours & Pattern
Full time – 37.5 hours per week. 3‑week shift pattern: 8 am‑4 pm, 9 am‑5 pm, 12 pm‑8 pm (flexible around annual leave and sickness for business needs).
