Responsibilities as our Parts Manager will include: Manage Parts/Stores Warehouse in relation to space and stock holding, including obsolete/excess stock disposal. Training new and existing staff for computer systems and working procedures within the department. Assist and advise other members of the Parts Department, both office and warehouse, whenever issues or problems arise. Assist and advise members of other departments with queries relating to spare parts. Manage staff holidays, back to work interviews after sickness and ensure that each team member is working at a satisfactory level. Assist with stock control and stock management. Creation and ordering of new parts, parts lists including supplier information and pricing. What we’re looking for in our Parts Manager: Proven experience in a parts or technical role at Management level Excellent leadership and communication skills Keen eye for detail Self-motivated and the ability to lead a team Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 and Excel is desirable, although full training will be given.
