POSITION: Senior Conference Producer – Maritime Industry
LOCATION: Fareham, Hampshire (Office-based)
SALARY: £28,000 – £30,000 DOE + Benefits
DURATION: Full-time, Permanent
Join Mercator Media, a leading B2B events & media company in the maritime sector, and take ownership of high-profile international conferences such as GreenPort Congress, Seawork Conferences, Icelandic Fisheries & Aquaculture Conferences and more.
What You’ll Do
* Manage projects from concept to delivery, including onsite at UK and overseas events.
* Collaborate across teams to drive promotion, sponsorship and delegate acquisition.
* Research and develop cutting-edge conference programmes.
* Secure top-tier speakers and key stakeholders fostering strong relationships.
* Innovate new themes and identify future opportunities alongside our supporting associations and advisory boards.
* Manage all conference operations on time and within budget.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven project management with high level of attention to detail and multitasking ability.
* Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
* Strong research and analytical skills.
* Self-motivated team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; second language and driving licence desirable.
* Willingness to travel internationally.
