Job title: Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Overton School – Shropshire, SY8 4AD
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only, (There may be scope for this role to be a full-time contract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, please get in touch to discuss.)
Salary: Up to £53,200 (pro-rata, dependent upon experience) plus £3000 Welcome Bonus (payable as one payment of £1,500 after one month and another of £1,500 after your final probation period. T&Cs apply.)

We are seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join our developing in-house Clinical Team, which includes occupational therapy, psychotherapy, and therapy assistants. You will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our pupils.
Your responsibilities include managing a speech and language therapy caseload, contributing to staff training and consultation, and providing information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as needed. The role requires resilience, enthusiasm, a creative therapeutic approach, decision-making skills, and workload management.

Qualifications and Experience
* Speech and Language Therapy degree
* Registered with HCPC and RCSLT
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in SEN education or with a similar caseload
* Experience managing a complex caseload
* Clear, concise report writing skills
* Ability to work independently under supervision
* Experience working within multi-professional teams or services
