Technology Enablement Manager - Purchase to Pay - 12m FTC
Join Clyde & Co as a Technology Enablement Manager, reporting to the Head of IT Strategy, Architecture and Design. You will be the key SME for the technology that supports the Purchase to Pay functions, working closely with senior stakeholders across Technology, Finance and Global Business Services to select and optimise appropriate solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with the Automation Programme and IT Delivery to ensure technology improvements are delivered and adopted.
* Engage with senior stakeholders to manage the technology road‑map for Purchase to Pay.
* Act as an SME for all invoice approval and expense processes, providing guidance on leveraging existing systems.
* Monitor market developments to ensure awareness of available solutions remains current.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with peer law firms and their systems teams.
* Collaborate with IT Delivery and IT Operations to support day‑to‑day queries.
* Document system processes and procedures, ensuring they are correctly designed and regularly maintained with development support.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience working with Chrome River or similar automation tools in a multi‑currency and multi‑jurisdiction environment.
* Hands‑on experience of harmonising and documenting processes.
* Experience managing a software‑as‑a‑service provider.
* Understanding of systems used to deliver automation and productivity improvements within the Purchase to Pay process.
* Experience managing external partners to deliver projects.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business analysts to senior finance managers.
* Intermediate or advanced Excel skills.
* Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior management and act as a trusted advisor.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Knowledge of both operational procurement and accounts payable functions and their needs.
* Experience and knowledge of process compliance and continuous improvement.
