Overview
A growing UK Sales & Marketing company is seeking a Finance Director to support a driven and ambitious Managing Director, acting as their right-hand strategic partner as the business prepares for rapid growth from its current £20m turnover.
The Finance Director will bring commercial acumen, financial insight, and strategic challenge to help shape the company's direction and ensure a strong financial foundation for its next stage of expansion.
The role offers full ownership of the finance, HR, and logistics functions, providing a rare opportunity to combine board-level influence with day-to-day operational leadership. Key Responsibilities
Lead all financial, HR, and logistics operations and strategy
Partner with the Managing Director to shape business direction and deliver growth plans
Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to guide decision-making
Oversee statutory reporting, compliance, and audit processes
Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial controls
Drive commercial performance and profitability through data-led insight
Oversee supplier relationships, procurement, and contract management
Lead and develop a capable finance team, fostering collaboration and accountability
Present to the board on financial performance, risk, and strategic initiatives
Implement and enhance systems, processes, and controls to support scalability
About You
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
Proven experience as the financial lead within an SME or divisional environment
Commercially focused, with a track record of driving growth and profitability
Confident influencing senior stakeholders and operating as a true business partner
Hands-on, and comfortable balancing strategy with day-to-day delivery
Strong leadership skills, with a collaborative and results-oriented approach

Salary: £90,000 - £110,000
£12,000 car allowance
