Position Details
* Base Location: Coventry
* Hours: 28 hours per week (4 days)
* Salary: Up to £34,507 FTE (£43,134.00)
* Benefits:
o £3,000 Car Allowance

* Office Location: Long Eaton
* Caseload Area: Midlands and South Yorkshire (no more than 1 hour's drive, with occasional flexibility required)

Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:
* Provide direct support to foster parents within a manageable caseload, ensuring high levels of supervision.
* Conduct regular supervision sessions, enabling and monitoring foster parents' practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate meaningful participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is:
* Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
* Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
* Possessing a full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
* Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
* Holding a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
* Knowledgeable about relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
* Proficient in IT and flexible regarding working patterns and travel.
Working Conditions
