These opportunities can be based across Leeds, Birmingham, Chester & Sheffield with Hybrid working from home. In this role you will: Developing, maintaining and improving credit risk/pricing and collections strategies within the appropriate regulatory guidance to allow us to make high quality decisions for our customers driven by data against agreed performance indicators; Supporting sustainable growth in the business through the delivery of WPB initiatives, delivering analytics to enable the design and roll-out of new lending products, enhancing product features, managing the exposure of our existing customers and supporting our customer in financial difficulty Leading complex analytical projects to completion with minimal guidance, formulating and clearly communicating conclusions and proposals giving consideration to the risk, reward and customer impact, collaborating with teams to make decisions; Identifying solutions to emerging risk issues, changing priorities, project completion issues and areas of conflict; Building strong interpersonal relationships and engaging with the wider organisation, on and off shore team members to provide insight and support for changes required to improve customer outcomes. Requirements To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: Previous experience in a relevant role, e.g. Credit Risk Analytics, Collections Analytics, Pricing Analytics or an Analysis based role, with experience of secured or unsecured products; profitability and credit risk; Excellent attention to detail and a track record of analytical capabilities using relevant software packages (i.e. SAS/SQL/VBA/Python) to analyse large amounts of data, draw conclusions and drive actions; Experience of successful project management, working across a range of teams to deliver; Proven ability to communicate to senior stakeholders You are motivated by making a positive contribution to how we support our customers and deliver for HSBC.
