Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Live-In Care Professional to support a lovely female long-standing client in the beautiful village of Creigiau near Cardiff. As a Live-In Care Professional, you will live in a client's home during your placement and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.
Although you do not need any particular qualifications to become a Care Professional, experience of working as a Live-in Care Assistant is essential, as is working with individuals living with Dementia. You will have a passion for supporting others and be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and be comfortable in spending time in the company of others. Being able to drive is essential as the location is rural and cannot be accessed on public transport. The Live-in Care Assistant would also need to be able to drive our client to local appointments and shops.
Additional Information
As a Live-In Care Professional, you will be provided with food for 3 meals a day or an equivalent food allowance, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support which will begin week beginning 26th January prior to first placement start on 3rd February. On this specific placement the Live-in Care Professional sleeps in the annexe, which comprises a bedroom, a small living area, and an en-suite shower room. A £25 travel allowance is also paid for each weeks' completed placement.
You will be required to undertake training, the content of which will be dependent on training already completed. Work is currently scheduled on a 1 week ON/1 week OFF basis with handover 11:30/12:00 on Tuesdays. You can expect to provide active support for 10 hours a day, between the hours of 09:00 & 21:30 with a 2 hour break between 14:00 & 16:00 daily.

Qualifications
1. Driver with own car (with business insurance) essential.
2. Excellent level of spoken and written English
3. Ability to be flexible on placement length
