Practice Manager – Nethertown Surgery Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience). Pension: Successful candidates will be auto-enrolled in the NHS Pension Scheme. Contract Type: Full-time, permanent, in-person role. Nethertown Surgery is seeking a highly motivated and experienced full-time Practice Manager to join our dedicated team. We are a friendly, supportive, and hardworking training practice with a patient list size of approximately 11,000. Located in Dunfermline, we serve a diverse population and are within easy commuting distance of Fife, Edinburgh, and Tayside. On-site parking is available, and the practice is only a five-minute walk from the train station. Our multidisciplinary team includes GP Partners, salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, and administrative staff, supported by Practice Pharmacists, Mental Health Nurses, and Musculoskeletal Practitioners. We are actively involved in GP and medical student training. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business management, financial, planning, and HR expertise. They will provide strategic leadership to drive the practice forward, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while maximising the financial performance of the business. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to motivate and support staff through proactive management to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. Experience in general practice management is desirable but not essential. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and further training opportunities will be supported.
