Essential criteria
1. Registered practitioner to degree/diploma level
2. Membership of the relevant Professional Body
3. Evidence of recent professional development in an up to date portfolio
4. Learning and Assessing in Practice Qualification or equivalent practice assessors training
Job specific experience
Essential criteria
5. Supervised experience gained during clinical placements
6. Recent previous experience within a comparable role
7. Demonstrable knowledge of assessment and therapeutic interventions in area of practice
8. Experience of developing programmes of care for an individual or groups of patients/clients and of providing advice
9. Ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively
Managerial / Supervisory experience
Essential criteria
10. Experience of demonstrating duties to junior staff
Desirable criteria
11. Experience of providing clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff
Information / Technology Resources
Essential criteria
12. Able to evaluate data and produce reports using Microsoft Excel and Word
13. Experience of using electronic patient / service user record systems
Personal qualities / attributes

14. Experience of planning and organising on-going activities, e.g. organise own time and that of junior staff and learners
