London Fire and Security (LFS) is a specialist training provider for the UK fire and security industry. We deliver Ofqual-approved, EAL level 3 fire and security qualifications to FESS Gold Card pathways — that help engineers meet the growing compliance demands of a post-Grenfell industry.
We’re a small, expert team based in Gravesend, Kent. As a CTP Preferred Partner and ELCAS and EAL Approved Centre, we also train service leavers transitioning into civilian fire and security careers. We’re growing fast and we need the right person to grow with us.
Role Description
You’ll be the first point of contact for companies and individuals looking to train their engineers — responding to enquiries, building relationships, booking courses, and helping us win corporate clients.
You’ll work directly alongside our Director of Growth, getting real exposure to B2B sales, client management, and a specialist industry that genuinely matters (fire safety compliance saves lives).
Day to day, you’ll:
* Respond to inbound course enquiries by phone and email — promptly and professionally
* Follow up on leads, convert enquiries into bookings, and keep our CRM up to date
* Support outreach to fire and security companies about our corporate training packages
* Help coordinate course scheduling and learner communications
* Contribute to our LinkedIn presence and marketing activity
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to know anything about fire alarms or security systems on day one. We’ll teach you everything.
What we do need
* You’re a natural on the phone — confident, warm, and clear
* You’re organised and don’t let things fall through the cracks
* You genuinely like talking to people and building relationships
* You’re curious and want to learn a specialist industry
* You take initiative — if something needs doing, you do it
* A background in sales, customerg service, admin, or any client-facing role is helpful. A degree is not required.
