Senior Residential Support Worker – 1-Bed EBD Service
Location: Greenford, London
Salary: £16.12 per hour | 40 hours per week
Sleep-In Rate: £70.50 per night
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a brand-new 1-bed children’s home in Greenford, London, supporting a young person with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new service from the start, where you can make a lasting impact on the life of a young person while supporting the development of a high-quality therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent, child-centred care in line with individual care plans
* Support the Team Leader and Deputy Manager in leading shifts and mentoring junior staff
* Maintain accurate records, including risk assessments and incident reports
* Build trusting relationships with the young person and act as a positive role model
* Support the home to meet all safeguarding, regulatory, and therapeutic standards
* Help to create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
Requirements:
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
* Full UK Driving Licence – highly desirable
* Experience working in a residential childcare setting, ideally with EBD
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and therapeutic care approaches
* Flexible to work a variable shift pattern across 7 days, including weekends and sleep-ins
