We have exciting new opportunities for Transport Team managers to join our distribution centre in Speke, Liverpool.
This will be working nightshift on a 4 on 4 off basis.
Working hours: 6pm - 6am, 4 on 4 off.
You will be operating in line with company values to provide excellent customer service to our retail teams and drivers, whilst working collaboratively with DC loading teams and meeting all legal requirements.
The key accountabilities for the role are as follows:
* Conduct driver pre-shift brief (despatching drivers) and de-briefs.
* General day to day management of drivers.
* R2C data entry, as well as completing scania grading / reports.
* Conduct return to work meetings, 4 / 8 / 12 week reviews and conduct/absence investigations.
* Provide customer service to the retail teams when needed.
* Liaise with DC teams and complete near-mis reporting.
* Provide support to the Transport Shift Manager where required.
What we are looking for:
* Transport manager experience
* Knowledge of transport legislation
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
