At DMD Partners, we are proud to be partnering with a highly reputable and well-established insurance organisation based in prestigious offices in Manchester City Centre.
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join the business on a 12-month fixed-term contract, leading a team of five within a fast-paced, professional environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated people leader with an insurance background who thrives on driving performance, improving processes, and developing high-performing teams.
The Opportunity
This role will see you taking full ownership of team performance, ensuring KPIs are achieved while maintaining exceptional operational and customer service standards.
You will play a key role in coaching, mentoring and developing your team, creating a positive and high-accountability culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and develop a team of 5
* Drive performance against KPIs and service level targets
* Conduct regular 1-2-1s, performance reviews and annual appraisals
* Manage performance improvement plans and employee development
* Produce, analyse and present management reporting
* Ensure compliance with insurance and regulatory standards
* Maintain high operational efficiency and customer service quality
About You
* Proven experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor
* Insurance industry experience (essential)
* Strong track record of managing and improving KPIs
* Confident conducting formal appraisals and performance management
* Comfortable producing and analysing management reports
* Professional, organised and people-focused
* A proactive leader who leads by example
