Band 2 Facility Support Worker with Domestic Duties - Armagh - Southern Health & Social Care Trust

About the role:
1. £12.71 per hour
2. Lisanally Day Centre - Armagh
3. Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm or 8.30am-4.30pm
4. 37.5 hours per week
5. Temporary until 14th August 2026
What you'll be doing in this role:
6. Daily, weekly and periodic maintenance of hard floors, to include: - dust control, sweeping and/or vacuum cleaning, damp mopping, spot mopping, scrubbing and spray cleaning.
7. Empty and clean waste bins, removing of waste bags and placing for collection.
8. Daily, weekly and periodic maintenance of all sanitary fittings (all toilet and shower areas). Replenish supplies to toilet rolls, soap and paper towels.
9. Temperature probe and record food delivered to Centre.
10. Preparation and cooking of frozen food product using Burlodge oven as per manufacturer's guidance and instruction.
11. Ensure personal hygiene and food hygiene standards are achieved and maintained including control of waste.
What you'll need for this role:
12. Have experience of carrying out a range of domestic, housekeeping and or catering duties in a working environment.
13. Ability to accept responsibility, to use initiative, to be accountable and cope with difficult situations in a calm manner.
14. Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
15. Effective communication skills to meet the needs of the post in full.
16. Understanding of the importance of confidential in the workplace.
17. Be willing to undertake necessary training relevant to the role.
18. Demonstrate a working knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control.
19. Have an awareness of Health and Safety Standards.
20.
