Overview
Role available in location: Ware. Duration: 1 year (approximately). Expected start date: July 2026. Full-time on site required. Salary: £25,400 plus a bonus.
Responsibilities
* Assist engineers in updating control logic and user interfaces for process equipment, following proper procedures.
* Collect and analyse operational data to identify causes of downtime or variability and present findings.
* Support system validation by helping execute test plans, recording results, and preparing documentation to confirm automation systems work correctly.
* Develop skills in understanding and modifying control systems, analysing operational data, and applying structured methods to verify automation systems operate as intended.
* Build attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and experience in working within regulated engineering environments.
Education & Qualifications
* Currently studying an Undergraduate Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Robotics.
* Minimum of 2 years completed of undergraduate degree; must not have graduated at start of placement.
* Enrolled at a UK or ROI university for the duration of the placement.
* Language: Written and spoken fluency in English.
Eligibility Notes
* If you have already graduated with a Bachelor's Degree and are currently studying a postgraduate Masters, you are not eligible for this programme.
