The Agile Category & Sourcing Specialist will be a highly organized, strategic, and communicative individual, providing support across the cost team. This role operates at an expert level, leading and executing complex cost, procurement, and sourcing initiatives across the bank. Key responsibilities include process design, demand optimization, sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities include:
1. Leading end-to-end strategic procurement activities from initiation through execution and close-out.
2. Driving cost transformation activities, including reporting, management information, and systems improvements for quantifiable value.
3. Developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
4. Partnering with suppliers to deliver market-leading value enhancement programs.
5. Ensuring due diligence, onboarding, and risk assessments comply with regulatory requirements.
6. Negotiating supplier agreements with a focus on cyber security, data privacy, SLAs, and exit planning.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure success.
8. Analyzing spend data, market trends, and supplier performance to inform decisions.
9. Tracking performance metrics using tools like Ariba, Cost Plan, and Planview.
10. Presenting business cases and updates to senior stakeholders and leadership.
11. Driving tangible and intangible cost and business benefits to meet targets.
12. Coaching the business through sourcing processes, enabling market readiness.
13. Using fact-based decision-making and storytelling to communicate options to senior stakeholders.
14. Contributing to financial planning, forecasting, and risk management.
15. Managing and reporting risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and policies.
