This role is ideal for a competent stairlift engineer who is confident in service and repair and looking to further develop their skill set. The successful candidate will receive full training on platform lifts and through-the-floor lifts, with the opportunity to become a multi-skilled mobility engineer. The position will initially focus on stairlifts, with ongoing development into other lift types, covering a localised patch across Southeast England. Applications are invited from candidates with strong stairlift engineering experience who are motivated to expand into wider mobility equipment. Commutable from: Hayes, Slough, Twickenham, Weybridge, Esher, Ealing, Hounslow, Wimbledon, Wembley, Uxbridge, London Stairlift Engineer Responsibilities: * Service and repair of straight and curved stairlifts from multiple manufacturers * Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown visits * Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely * Deliver high levels of customer service at all times * Complete accurate service records and adhere to safety standards * Attend occasional call-outs (approx. 1 every 3 weeks) * Undertake training and development on platform lifts and through-the-floor lifts The Ideal Stairlift Engineer: * Minimum 2 years’ experience working on stairlifts – ESSENTIAL * Strong mechanical and electrical skill set – ESSENTIAL * Electrical qualifications – ESSENTIAL * Willingness to train on platform lifts and through-the-floor lifts – ESSENTIAL * Experience with through-the-floor lifts, platform lifts, hoists or similar – DESIRABLE * NVQ Level 2 in Stairlift Engineering – DESIRABLE * CSCS and/or SSSTS – DESIRABLE * Full UK Driving Licence – ESSENTIAL Apply for this role: 1.
