Position Overview
Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Working 4 days per week, 8am – 6pm plus on‑call over weekends and evenings.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated radiographer to complement our friendly, social, and dynamic Radiology team at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further your clinical experience within the field of MSK imaging.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist department superintendents with the supervision of staff and students, providing training and encouraging the highest professional and technical standards by personal example and constructive supervision.
* Rotate to general X‑ray, fluoroscopy and theatres; take a lead role within designated areas of the department and act as Duty Radiographer.
* Participate in the on‑call rota for evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
* Hold the appropriate BSc qualifications and experience in orthopaedic radiography.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* 6‑month probationary period applies.
