About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential sites. You will ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards in accordance with BS 5839 and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and related life safety equipment.
Carry out routine inspections and testing in accordance with relevant standards.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs in a timely and professional manner.
Complete service reports, certificates, and documentation accurately.
Provide technical support and advice to customers.
Participate in an on-call rota for emergency callouts (additional allowance paid).
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies at all times.
Required to travel around London
Requirements
Essential:
Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service or Maintenance Engineer.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems (e.g. Advanced, Kentec, Gent, Morley, Hochiki, Apollo, etc.).
Understanding of BS 5839 and other relevant standards.
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Desirable:
FIA training modules (Units 14 or equivalent).
Experience with addressable and conventional systems.
Knowledge of emergency lighting and smoke ventilation systems.
