An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a global business based on the outskirts of Cambridge, on a part time, temporary basis. This role will be for a period of 6 months for 20 hours per week and will offer hybrid working. Within the role, you will report into the Finance Manager.
As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked the following duties:
- Preparing sales and purchase invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Ad hoc duties as required
As the successful applicant, you will possess previous experience working in a similar level role, with good knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and month end processes. You will also have excellent communication skills, both on a written and verbal level, and be organised and accurate in your approach to work. Good system and excel skills will also be required.
