Job Description
We are looking for a confident leader who can build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and act as the primary point of day-to-day liaison with the Client, ensuring the service consistently operates to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide direction and support to ISS staff to ensure effective performance.
2. Maintain accurate documentation, including sickness records, quality audits, training, and PMS data.
3. Assist with compiling and completing reports and service documentation within agreed timescales.
4. Monitor sickness levels and ensure HR processes are followed.
5. Build strong working relationships with colleagues, patients, visitors and Trust staff.
6. Plan, allocate and review staff work, managing annual leave and service demand to meet target hours.
7. Manage service objectives and targets, supporting planning, budgeting and forecasting.
8. Ensure all quality monitoring, activity reporting and performance processes are maintained.
9. Support Payroll by ensuring onsite procedures are followed accurately.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
10. Working knowledge and understanding of Level 3 Health & Safety.
11. BICS qualification.
12. Working knowledge of Support Services in Healthcare (or equivalent) at NVQ Level 2.
13. Customer Care Training.
14. Previous experience managing or supervising within a service contract.
15. Strong knowledge of equipment and Health & Safety requirements.
16. Experience in labour management.
17. Previous exposure to financial accounting.
18. Experience working with Trade Unions.
19. Strong organisational skills.
20. Proven ability to manage, lead and motivate teams.
21. Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
