Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Depot Administrator to support the efficient running of our Avonmouth depot. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions, particularly in relation to the weighbridge, stock control, and transport support.
Key Responsibilities
General Administration
* Operate the weighbridge and manage vehicle traffic via radio with depot staff.
* Handle correspondence and prepare minutes of meetings.
* Update and maintain accurate depot records.
* Produce reports to meet internal deadlines.
* Liaise with the transport department on vehicle routing.
* Provide cover for colleagues during holidays or absences.
System & Data Management
* Perform accurate data entry and ensure tidy record-keeping practices.
* Assist the Transport Coordinator with daily collection sheets and associated notes.
* Record daily stock figures and weekly allocations.
* Collate and prepare data and reports as required.
