Responsibilities
Required qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of backend development experience, preferably within the hedge fund or financial services industry
* Strong passion for backend architecture and application development, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
* Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
SKILLS
Must have
* C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, Entity Framework Core
* Some exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript/Angular
* Building and optimizing high-load, high-performance, data-driven backend systems
* Designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP-based web services
* Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Nice to have
* Experience with Portfolio and Risk Management systems (e.g., What-If analysis, scenario modeling, real-time pricing)
* Familiarity with financial instruments (equities, derivatives, fixed income, etc.)
* Strong grasp of RDBMS concepts, data modeling, and database design
* Practice of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and performance profiling across the stack
