Warehouse Supervisor

Temporary Ongoing, minimum 3-6 months
£18.19-19.23 PAYE + Holiday Pay
37 Hours, Monday to Friday, 8AM-4PM
Have you worked in a Warehouse, Stock Management or a Stores/Depot environment? We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse professional to lead a Warehouse team and ensure stock is managed and controlled adequately.
This is an essential role covering long-term sickness and requires a reliable individual who may be extended past the initial term. It is well suited to an individual with warehouse experience who is looking for sociable hours.
Duties of the Stock Control Supervisor will include:
Overseeing all warehouse facilities
Managing a small team of warehouse operatives, including monitoring, coaching and mentoring when necessary
Ensuring regular maintenance of premises, equipment, and company vehicles
Maintaining materials on site and replenishing goods for goods in/out
Determining order fulfillment
Recording accurate logs
Working proactively with teams and ensuring good communication
Implementing improvements to improve processes
Preparing plans for operational peaks and special projectsEssential experience for the Warehouse Supervisor:
* Strong experience in a Warehouse/ Stock Control environment
* Problem-solving skills with a 'can-do' mindset
*Good knowledge of current H&S standards
