Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Cheshire, Poynton Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £99 Per day Job Duties: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide additional support to students with special educational needs. Your duties will include assisting in the implementation of individual education plans, supporting students in the classroom, and helping with their social and emotional development. You will also be responsible for helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Required Qualifications: - A relevant qualification in education or special educational needs - Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs Education: - Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Experience: - Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: - Good understanding of special educational needs and how to support students effectively - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff Preferred Qualifications: - Additional qualifications in special educational needs or teaching assistance Working Conditions: - You will be based in a school setting - Full-time hours, Monday to Friday - Contract position with the possibility of extension All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
