A well-established and rapidly growing building services and environmental design consultancy, based in central London, is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team.

Role Overview
* Lead electrical design and coordination across a range of exciting projects
* Manage detailed design packages and oversee technical quality standards
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
* Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
* Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and best practice guidance
* Represent the consultancy in client meetings and technical discussions
* Support internal planning and quality assurance processes
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 8 years’ experience in electrical building services design
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent
* Chartered or working towards chartership (IET or CIBSE)
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage distribution, lighting, controls, and life safety systems
* Experience delivering coordinated multidisciplinary design through all RIBA stages
* Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit and BIM experience advantageous
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Passion for sustainability and high-performance building design
