This role will play a key part in turning data into actionable insight, supporting pricing and proposition decisions, and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes. You will work closely with the Commercial Product & Propositions Manager to deliver reporting, analysis, and operational improvements that drive commercial performance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel and analytical skills who is looking to develop their commercial acumen in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve: Produce and maintain regular and ad hoc reporting on sales performance, propositions, and TPI channel activity, ensuring accuracy, organisation, and version control across all outputs Analyse trends in pricing, conversion, margin, and customer behaviour to identify risks, opportunities, and commercial insights Support the development and optimisation of commercial propositions through data-led analysis, competitor monitoring, and market insights Own and improve key commercial reports, dashboards, and Excel models, identifying opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes Ensure data accuracy and consistency across commercial reporting, models, and analysis Act as a key point of contact for commercial data requests, providing analytical support for projects, business cases, and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with Sales, Commercial, Operations, and P&P teams to support commercial initiatives and assist the Commercial P&P Manager in preparing materials for senior stakeholders The Spark we're Looking For Minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) and A-Level Mathematics or another analytical subject; a degree in STEM, Economics, Finance, or a related analytical discipline would be advantageous 2 years’ experience in an analytical or commercial role, with experience working with data, reporting, and performance analysis; experience in pricing, commercial analysis, sales performance reporting, or within the energy/utilities sector is beneficial Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation); experience with Power BI or similar visualisation tools, and basic SQL or other data tools, would be advantageous Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interrogate data, identify trends, and turn insights into clear recommendations Strong communication skills with confidence presenting data in a clear and simple way, alongside strong organisation, proactivity, and a collaborative team approach If you like the sound of this role, we encourage you to apply even if you aren’t confident that you meet all of the requirements – you may be just who we’re looking for.
