Salary: Up to £18.00 per hour
Location: Near Uxbridge
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am to 12pm
Interview Process: One-stage, on-site

Syntech Recruitment are working with a global engineering firm recognised for innovation, excellence, and reliability. We\'re seeking a Mechanical Technician to support the final build of safety-critical aerospace components in a clean, well-organised environment.

Responsibilities
* Building mechanical sub-assemblies such as seat pans, guide rails, and survival kits to spec
* Working from detailed engineering drawings and build instructions
* Conducting self-inspection and stage certification of completed work
* Using SAP to log parts, track jobs, and update work progress
* Handling tools, gauges, and components with precision and care
* Supporting lean initiatives and maintaining a clean, safe working area
Qualifications
* Previous mechanical assembly or technician experience in a manufacturing setting
* Competent using basic hand tools and torque equipment
* Able to read and interpret technical drawings
* Comfortable using computers - SAP or Excel knowledge is a plus
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical work ethic
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in core subjects
