Overview
Staff Nurse x 2 at Highland Hospice. 36 hours per week (part-time). Salary: £33,247-£41,424 per annum (pro-rata). Holiday: 35 days per annum (including public holidays) pro-rata. Shift pattern: 12 hour shifts - Day (07:30-20:00), Night (19:30-08:00). Sponsorship: Not applicable for this post. Closing date: Tuesday 21 October 2025. Interview date: Tuesday 4 November 2025.
A Day in the Life of a Staff Nurse
Reporting to the Senior Nurses, you can expect your working day to include the following:
* Providing excellent, holistic, patient-centred palliative care.
* Being part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, including Nurses, Doctors, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Pharmacist, Social work, chaplaincy and volunteers.
* Medicine management, care planning and discharge planning.
* Assisting with personal care, nutrition and all activities of daily living.
* Working in a friendly, dynamic, positive and vibrant environment.
