We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the ENT & Audiology service as an admissions officer. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive admissions support to ENT Consultants.

Job description
Job responsibilities
1. Manage the PTL, selecting patients for admission based on clinical priority and waiting list time.
2. Ensure PTL is updated with relevant p-codes and priority codes, obtaining information from letters or consultants as needed.
3. Send theatre lists to consultants in advance to confirm timings and patient order, making amendments if necessary.
4. Attend weekly meetings with consultants, secretaries, and staff to discuss patients.
5. Optimize theatre utilization.
6. Book beds such as 23-hour, ITU, bariatric, and other levels based on patient needs.
7. Ensure investigations or pre-assessment appointments are booked and organize patient transport as necessary.
