About The Role We are seeking an experienced, commercially astute, and strategically-minded Human Resources Business Partner (People Partner) to join our fantastic People team in our world-leading creative agency. This is a pivotal 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC) opportunity to cover a maternity leave, offering a chance to make a significant impact within a renowned global network. As a strategic business leader, you will act as a primary "Experience Account Manager" for a defined area of our business, owning the employee experience and people related outcomes. You will orchestrate HR products and services to solve real business problems, drive significant organisational change, and directly impact engagement, performance, capability, and retention for your business areas. This role requires a proactive, data-driven individual who can act as a credible 'thinking partner' to senior leaders, translating business strategy into impactful people plans and ensuring Ogilvy remains an employer of choice. You will be instrumental in shaping our people narrative, leveraging HR as a critical toolkit to achieve commercial success and foster our Borderless Creativity culture. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Advisory: Act as a "thinking partner" to senior business leaders, providing expert counsel and strategic challenge on people, culture, performance, and risk. Organisational Change & Transformation: Partner with your business areas to lead significant initiatives, including restructurings, acquisitions, and new growth areas, leading organisational design and workforce planning. Planning, Design & Delivery: Clarify critical business problems that can be addressed through people solutions, partnering with specialist HR functions (L&D, Talent, Reward, DEI, People Operations). Commercial & Financial Acumen: Understand the commercial context of your business areas, linking HR initiatives directly to business value drivers and managing HR-related budgets. Employee Engagement & Experience: Drive initiatives for a positive, inclusive culture, acting as a trusted advisor on HR matters, facilitating feedback, and ensuring compliance. What You'll Bring Strategic HR Experience: Significant proven experience as a People Partner in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ideally within a creative agency or similar industry, with a track record of driving business impact through people strategy. Commercial and Financial Literacy: Proven ability to understand P&Ls, budgets, value drivers, and credibly discuss margin, revenue, productivity, and growth strategy with senior leaders. Leadership, Coaching & Consulting Skills: A credible peer to senior leaders, adept at framing complex problems, contracting work, and delivering constructive feedback. Change & Communication: Expertise in leading organisational change initiatives, crafting compelling narratives, and gaining leadership buy-in. Data & Insight Fluency: Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, proficient in using people and business data for diagnosis, prioritisation, and decision-making. Organisational Design & Development: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in leading organisational design, workforce planning, and talent management (succession, critical roles, development). Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels. Technical HR Expertise: CIPD certification (Level 7 preferred). Strong understanding of HR best practices, UK employment legislation, and HRIS (Workday experience is a plus).
